Data we use

The Free plan runs locally in the buyer's browser and does not send or retain its handoff entries. Paid plans use a project alias, role aliases, eight bounded control states, public-safe notes, gap status, timestamps, hashed capabilities, entitlement identifiers, and minimal abuse-prevention records. Stripe processes Checkout and payment details; HandoffMirror receives only verified entitlement data needed to create and recover a paid workspace.

Data that is not permitted

Use aliases. Do not enter passwords, API keys, access tokens, private credential locations, client or customer records, personal contact details, payment data, regulated personal information, or confidential material not needed to describe a handoff gap.

Purpose

We use the permitted data only to operate HandoffMirror, secure access, support the product, and maintain a minimal operational record.

Retention and access

Free-plan entries remain only in the current browser session unless the user downloads a local summary. HandoffMirror retains a purchased workspace and its append-only paid record to provide and recover access, preserve handoff integrity, secure and troubleshoot the service, resolve payment disputes, and meet legal obligations. The current product does not provide self-service deletion or configurable retention.

Sharing

We do not sell participant data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate HandoffMirror, or when required by law.
